How does Agents usage work?

Each seat comes with an included usage allocation for running an Agent or automating work through a Routine. Scribing and asking clinical evidence queries never consumes this usage allocation. Every paid seat comes with a monthly allowance, and Free comes with a smaller weekly one.

What is the difference between a Standard and a Max seat?

A Max seat includes five times the usage of a Standard seat, and everything else about the plan is identical. Max suits clinicians who lean on Agents each day. On Practice you can mix Standard and Max seats across your team on one invoice.

What happens when I run out of usage?

Accepted Answer

Heidi lets you know as you get close. On a Standard seat, the usage-based features pause until your allowance resets at the start of the next month, or until you move to a Max seat. Your notes keep working as normal. We never charge overages, so there are no surprises on your invoice.

Does Heidi take actions without my review?

Accepted Answer

No. An Agent works through the task you describe, then hands back what needs your review before anything is saved to a record, sent to a patient or filed with a payer. You approve every output, the same way you review a note before it goes into the EHR.

How does Heidi handle patient data when an Agent runs?

Accepted Answer

The same way it handles your notes. Agents run under the same privacy policy, data retention settings and regional hosting as the rest of Heidi, and your team's admin controls apply to them. Heidi does not train models on your patient data.

Is Evidence included in my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on every plan. Evidence answers are unlimited on Clinician and Practice plans, within our fair use policy. This means that features like citations, CPD tracking and live suggestions in the visit are included in the seat. Every paid plan also includes full-text journal access.

Do assistants and admin staff need a seat?

Accepted Answer

On Practice, assistant users are free. Their use of credit-based features like Dictate or Routines draws from your team's shared credit pool.

What is the main difference between Free and Clinician?

Free gives you unlimited scribing with standard templates and a trial of Heidi's other features. Clinician adds advanced templates, patient-context-aware evidence inside the visit, full-text journal access and a monthly credit allowance that is built for daily use.

When should I upgrade to the Practice plan?

When more than one clinician in your practice uses Heidi and you want shared templates, team controls and one invoice. Practice also lets you mix Standard and Max seats, so the clinician who runs Routines all day and the one who only needs notes are each on the right seat.

Enterprise. You work with our team to scope single sign-on, service commitments, custom hosting, managed releases and dedicated customer success, with a credit pool sized for your organization and billing that fits how you buy. Talk to us and we will build the right setup.

Can I cancel my Heidi subscription at any time?
