Heidi is an AI medical scribe that assists clinicians by automating the creation of clinical notes during patient visits. Heidi streamlines documentation by transcribing consultations, generating notes that sound just like you, and allowing you to edit your notes with AI. Heidi also allows you to automatically create documents, such as referral letters and patient summaries, based on your notes.

This helps clinicians save time, focus more on their patients, and handle documentation efficiently.

Heidi also provides our users with market leading privacy and security measures to safeguard sensitive medical data.

How does Heidi work?

Heidi works by transcribing your consult and generating notes based on a template of your choice using AI. It’s basically magic!

  • Personalise your experience using templates, Heid's notes are built on templates. our custom templates allow you to really shape any note you can think of. We have a 3 part article taking you through the basics - advanced. Read it here

  • Create downstream documents from your original note, with the click of a button. You can choose an existing template, or “Ask Heidi” to create a document from your note. Think referral letters, patient summaries, care plans, almost anything you may need to produce from your consult can be produce with Heidi, by using “Ask Heidi” or shaping your perfect template.

    • Documents are based on the original note (or if you've used dictation) so make sure it is correct before you produce the secondary document

  • Dictate or Transcribe, Heidi runs off two key functions. Transcription allows you to create a note based on a specific template great for consults with patients. The verbatim text will be saved in a seperate tab. Dictate works more like your traditional Dictation software, where you speak to the system to pen a letter, or referral. In both features you can create downstream documentation.

  • The “Context” feature allows you to note down anything that you might not want to say out loud during your patient session, or provide any historical context about the patient to Heidi. You can add Context at any time, before, during or after the consult. If you add to Context after creating your note, you will see a “sync changes” button to allow you to push any new Context into the note. Read more

  • Heidi is multi-lingual! You can select the language you’d like to speak in your sessions, as well as the language you’d like your notes and documents to appear in. You can see which Languages are available in Memory:

    • We have a Multilingual feature in Beta that will allow you to speak in multiple languages while Heidi Detects the correct one.

  • Our “Ask Heidi” feature located at the bottom of the page allows you to ask Heidi for exactly what you want to create or change about your note, for example: "make my note shorter", "generate a patient explainer", or “convert notes to French”.   • Upload a session - You can upload an audio file of an existing session to Heidi and we’ll work our magic!

Can Heidi give me medical advice?

No, Heidi can not provide medical advice. Heidi is a scribing tool for practitioners and should not be used for medical advice. If you require medical assistance, or information on symptoms that you or a patient may be experiencing you would need to consult a medical professional.
