Does Heidi work in various hospital settings (such as emergency departments or post-acute care)?

Yes! Heidi is not restricted to specific scenarios or settings. We aim to give clinicians a comprehensive understanding of the product and let them assess whether it suits their current work style and workflow.

Heidi works well in an emergency department. We have many users who complete frequent rounds in many hospital environments. Depending on your preference, Heidi can be used on mobile, or on desktop, by simply logging into heidihealth.com via your preferred browser.

Is Heidi suitable for psychologists?

I work in a variety of roles, do I need to change my clinician type for different settings? Are there different templates for different roles?

Users can mould their notes to exactly how they prefer them written, no matter the role.

The different templates can always be used or created regardless of the clinician type you chose at the start of onboarding. The best way to use Heidi would be to create separate templates for the different roles you work across i.e. separate templates for primary care work, pain clinic work and sports clinic work. You can see the sorts of templates are community are using in our Template Community.

When selecting your specialty, you are able to change your practitioner details in your Account in case you select the incorrect one or if the one you have selected doesn’t suit your needs.

To do this, click on your Account tab on the Left Hand panel. There you can use the dropdown menu to select a different specialty. Make sure to click ‘Save changes’ at the top of the page!

Can Heidi be used in a care home setting to support with notes?

Heidi can support care home settings, providing carers with the right tools to document a lot of those consults or sessions they have with those in a care home.

The consult summary in SOAP format is a general summary that is generated irrespective of your use case. You can then tailor your summary in our template section, where you can generate documents and letters in the desired format.

Some care home settings require a specific type of care plan or specific types of documents and templates to complete their sessions, of which our Heidi team will happily support and help build those notes out.
