What is Memory?
Memory is a new feature within your preferences that allows you to provide personalised feedback to the AI on how you want your notes to be generated. It acts as your customisation engine, enabling Heidi to tailor notes to your exact specifications and minimising the need for edits afterwards.
What are the different options?
Memory currently offers you three options:
Select your date preference โ Choose between English or American date formats, ensuring that your outputs and sessions within the side navigation consistently follow your preferred style
Select your spelling preference โ Whether you prefer English or American spelling, select your preference, and your outputs will adapt accordingly
Customise your word library โ Add commonly misspelled words or preferred abbreviations, and Heidi will automatically correct or shorten these in your outputs Weโve provided you with some great suggestions below!
Snippets - Add shortcuts for frequently used text blocks so you can edit your outputs faster and more efficiently
Can I make in-session edits?
Absolutely! If you notice a misspelled word or a phrase you'd prefer to abbreviate during your session, high-light the word/phrase and select Find & Replace.
You can then choose to apply the change to all instances within your current output, across all outputs in your session, or for all future occurrences by adding it to your word library. You also have the option to match the exact casing of your replacement if needed
What if I want to opt out?
By default, we apply your regional date and spelling preferences without storing any additional memory or data. You have full control over these settings, and you can update or delete them at any time.
