- SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan): A clear and organised format used widely in healthcare to document patient care.
- SOAP (Issues): Adds a Problem List to the Assessment and Plan sections, ideal for managing patients with multiple concerns.
- H & P (History of Presenting Complaint): Focuses on the patient’s current complaint, followed by their medical history, examination findings, diagnosis, and plan
- H & P (Issues): Adds a Problem List in the Impression and Plan sections, suitable for patients with multiple issues.
Profession & Specialty-Specific Formats:
Heidi supports formats tailored to different specialties such as:
- ADIME for dieticians.
- IMIST-AMBO for paramedics.
💡Tip : To ensure you’re using the right format, update your specialty in
Account > About You on the left-hand menu
What is a voice style?
Voice styles let you customise the length and detail of your generated notes to match your preferences.
Voice options:
- Brief: Produces concise, to-the-point notes.
- Detailed: Generates comprehensive notes for in-depth documentation.
- Super Detailed: Includes extensive detail and quotes for thorough documentation.
- Goldilocks: A balanced option that combines brevity and detail.
How does the brain hemisphere impact your note?
The brain hemisphere setting controls Heidi’s thought process when creating your notes, enabling outputs that match your style.
What's the difference between them?
- Left brain: Fast and unimaginative. Best for documentation requiring precision and simplicity.
- Right brain: Thoughtful, but slow. Captures complexity and adds depth.
Left brain: Available to all users.
Right brain: Unlock access with Pro, Together and Enterprise Plan.
