New updates and improvements to Heidi.
Notifications
Notifications appear in your sidebar whenever you need to keep track of important events and tasks.
Click the bell icon next to the New session button to view notifications.
The last thing we want is to contribute to alert fatigue, so we’re building the full suite of notifications slowly and cautiously.
Currently, the notification panel will serve reminders that sessions are going to be deleted shortly, provided you’ve set an automatically scheduled deletion in your Preferences.
Clicking the ellipses (...) reveals notifications options.
You can manage notification settings in Preferences.
Let us know of any additional notifications you’d like to see.
Grouping sessions by date
We recently made it easier to keep your sessions list organized with the Tidy up button (deletes all empty sessions). However, we’ve heard navigating long lists of past sessions can still be challenging.
To make it easier to find sessions you want to continue working on, we’ve added auto-populating date headings throughout your Past Sessions list.
If you haven’t already, set your preferred date formatting in Memory so session headings follow the structure you’re most familiar with.
Display settings
We added two options to the Preferences menu worth paying attention to.
- Show consent pop-up - add or remove the patient consent reminder at the beginning of each session (including a link to Learn more about patient consent).
- Hide my email address in sidebar - removes the risk of a patient seeing your email address if they view your device during an in-person visit.
Improvements
- Improved template functionality for the CareStack integration
- Implemented SHIFT+ENTER to create a new line in Ask Heidi
- Included a toggle in Replace (Memory) that permits replacements within a word, such that a “bat” -> “fat” replacement also turns “batter” into “fatter”
- Several minor UI/UX improvements
Fixes
- Fixed a bug preventing team Admins from listening to team members’ dictation recordings (provided the team has registered consent)
- Addressed a problem causing short sessions (<5 minutes) to initially give an error message, requiring the user to click Regenerate to produce the note
- Resolved an issue causing the session rating button (smiley face) to show up before a session is transcribed
- Fixed a bug preventing some users from editing their organization name in the mobile & tablet apps
- Fixed an issue causing a brief delay in loading content when switching between tabs
- Solved a problem where switching audio input mid-session was causing transcription to stop
